Our Origin
A Calling, Not Just a Company
In 2015, Fernando Patino founded Cross Safety Management with a conviction to serve others through safety. Built on a relentless work ethic and a faith-driven belief, Fernando set out to build something meaningful — and has been growing the company on his own terms ever since.
Fernando saw an industry full of checkbox compliance and paper-thin safety programs. He knew workers deserved better. He knew companies deserved a partner who would actually show up, walk the job site, and treat their people like family.
Fernando's hands-on leadership and faith-driven approach have grown CSM from a one-man operation to a nationally recognized safety consulting firm — built on hard work, integrity, and a commitment to quality that clients can feel from day one.

Fernando didn't pick the name “Cross” by accident. He named this company deliberately — because his faith isn't just a personal belief, it's the foundation of how he runs his business.
He wants Christ represented authentically in everything CSM does — not performatively, not as a marketing strategy, but through the way his team treats people, honors commitments, and serves clients. The Cross in the name is a promise: you're working with people who answer to a higher standard.
